Concepts Nike SB Dunk “Turdunken” Will Turkey Stuff You [Nov. 2020]

 In Nike

Concepts, the world-renowned streetwear and luxury stockist, was founded by Tarek Hassan in Boston 1996. It started out as a small boutique with a passion for skateboarding culture before streetwear and luxury tied the knot in fashion. Its apparel and footwear selection first boomed with brands like Gucci, Balenciaga, and YSL. In the early 2000’s, the brand pursued streetwear brands and pushed its drive in 2006 when Bodega opened shop in Boston. CNCPTS Creative Director, Deon Point, said it “woke us up across the board.” In 2009, Concepts dropped the Nike SB Dunk “Blue Lobster” in collaboration with Nike. It now stocks other hyped brands like Stussy, Human Made, and Bape. Which paves way for the Concept Nike SB Dunk High “Turdunken”: the best Concepts Nike release since pigs could fly.

Thanksgiving is set on Thursday, November 26th this year. We’re ecstatic and starved to cop November Jordans and Nikes this month. The turkey feast and Black Friday build-up has officially begun! TSB ended September with a hoot and October with a Halloween bang. But we’re getting real crazy right before the Holidays. And you know this means a hefty giveaway or prize of some sort. Maybe even a full-on restock if we’re feeling extra generous! You can’t know what you’re gonna get, but you can count it being worth your attention. So, keep it double locked @The_Shit_Bot these coming weeks for a chance to cop with the only working Nike bot

CONCEPTS NIKE SB DUNK TURDUNKEN

Now, let’s fire up the oven with the Concepts Nike SB Dunk “Turdunken”! Concepts has gained popularity with Nike over the years mainly through their SB Dunk Lobster collection and Nike Kyrie line. Another theme Concepts Nike is famous for is the Holiday season. Top Nike SB Dunks to drop under the mistletoe are Ugly Christmas, Holy Grail, and the upcoming Turdunken. Which is mighty creative of the collaboration, if you know what turducken means. It’s basically a chicken stuffed inside a duck which is stuffed inside a turkey. A Thanksgiving special that originated in Louisiana in the 1970s. Consider that your word of the day!

If you think this Concepts Nike SB is a turkey impression, you’re not quite there. The exterior actually takes after the mallard duck. Hence the iridescent tongue and feather-like textures. It literally says “Duck High Pro”, so we got the first bird covered. As for the chicken, Nike managed to stuff a Nike Dri-Fit chicken sock inside the Dunk. Neat way to market the perks of chicken legs. Point did say that the CNCPTS team “love to have fun” but that escalated pretty quickly! Because this three-bird-roast sneaker is just the tip of the iceberg…

Release Information

The Concepts Nike SB “Turdunken” will arrive in a turkey oven-themed box with turkey wrapping paper, alongside chicken foot socks and a turkey leg Nerf vortex football. That’s a lot of meal prep for one pair of kicks, which explains why it’s worth $2,000. A Concepts Nike apparel collection is also set to drop in the $46-$285 price range. It will include beanies, T-shirts, and flannel jackets. The sneaker will drop with special packaging at Concepts on November 14 for $249. A wider launch on SNKRS follows shortly on November 21 for $120.
