Jordan 5 Concord: Sooo… We Swappin’ Classic Colorways Now?
Sometimes, sneaker colorways are collectibles just like Pokémon cards, no cap. Don’t get us wrong, we dig having a full collection of our favorite Jordan silhouette. And if your favorite Js are the 5s, well you’re in for a treat today! The new Jordan 5 Concord is taking one of the classic Jordan colorways and making it brand new. But before all the details, make sure you know how your 5s should fit in this Jordan size guide. And if you already do, buckle up for the ride!
Why Is Jordan 5 Concord Cool?
As we already mentioned, the Concord colorway is a Jordan signature. We can trace its root to the mighty Jordan 11. The Jordan 11 Concord has its own epic tale fam, and you can check it out here. But long story short, MJ loved it so much he actually wore the sample that Tinker Hatfield advised him not to. And you know how stories sell, which made the kicks even more appealing to all sneakerheads!
Now, moving on to Jordan 5 Concord, the pair adopted almost the same color blocking as the 11s. The upper will come in white, midsoles in black like the 11’s patent mudguard. And obviously, we have concord purple on the shark teeth and the sockliners. So all in all, shit’s totally dope!
Jordan 5 Concord will drop on August 13, 2022, and will retail for $200. Rumor had it that it was dropping on July 23rd, but sadly nope. Anyway, copping these babies in bulk will come in handy, especially if you wanna slowly start your sneaker resale business. Another reason you’ll wanna cop these kicks is that, obviously, they look dope as shit! So if you wanna flex that end-of-summer fall drip, you’re already set yo!
