April Skateboards Dunk Drops this Fall in the Dreamiest Colorway

 In Nike, Sneakers

The April Skateboards Dunk isn’t the only reputable collab for the Australian Skateboarding brand. Owner Shane O’Neill has been growing his company for quite some time. And in a short period, he has collaborated with big names in the skateboarding world such as Diamond Supply Co. and Spitfire Wheels.

In the spring of 2019, Shane O’Neill birthed April Skateboards into the skateboarding world like a fresh breeze in a crowded skatepark. Despite being the new kids on the block, this crew has been slaying it for the past four years, snatching up talented riders, dominating tournaments, and winning hearts all over. Brace yourself, because their upcoming collab with Nike SB Dunk Low is about to set the skate scene on fire in two hot colorways— one of which is exclusive to friends and family!

It’s All in the Details of this April Skateboards Dunk

When it comes to collaborations, Nike SB is no stranger to offering up its prevalent SB Dunk series. Working most often with skate brands and shops, these releases usually end up as some of the shoe’s most sought-after pairs. Had the chance to check out the Born x Raised Dunks?

But, this won’t be the first time Shane joins forces with Nike. Back in 2020, O’Neill partnered with Nike on a few SBs ranging from grey and cream to black paisley.
However, this year’s work holds his company’s name, April Skateboards. And the colorway isn’t so neutral anymore. The April Skateboards Dunks feature a White, Metallic Silver, and Turbo Green color combo. The sneaker starts off with white mesh detailing on the side panels and heels along with tonal leather toes. To break up the all-white we see the addition of Turbo Green suede overlays. Design highlights include Metallic Silver Swooshes on the side panels along with April branding on the lateral ankle and heels. Down below we see white midsoles and icy translucent outsoles with the brand’s signature rose logo on the underfoot.

Moreover, a friends and family colorway is also on the way. This one is most likely to fall into the hands of close friends Yuto Horigome, Yosef Ratleff, Noah Nayef, and the like. The pair, though ostensibly identical to its above-mentioned counterpart in most respects, opts instead for light purple overlays as well as rose chrome detailing.
