The Arts-Rec Nike SB Collab Ain’t for the Faint of Heart!

 In Nike, Sneakers

Whenever we talk about the Nike SB division, you know something crazy could be cooking at any point. And this time, it’s a collaboration with the San Diego skate shop Arts-Rec! The upcoming Arts-Rec Nike SB Trainer 1 is certainly a sight to behold. And the coolest thing about it is that it’s not your average hyped silhouette. But of course, it does have some reminder typa shit because it looks like another silhouette we love. Okay, we’ll stop being shady and get straight to the point, how about that?

What’s Arts-Rec?

San Diego has a lot to offer, and one of those things is pro skaters like Kellen James! With more than 20 years of skateboarding, he’s a veteran who knows what’s up. So, it just made sense for him to launch a skateboarding store, and that was how Arts-Rec was born. From skateboarders for skateboarders, you can find apparel, skate decks, and more there! The store has been operational since 2018, carrying some of the best brands that skaters like. And now, the Arts-Rec Nike SB partnership solidifies the store’s title as one of the best skateboarding shops in San Diego!

Arts-Rec Nike SB Trainer 1 – Ain’t Your Typical Pair!

It’s been six years since the SB division gave us a collaborative Nike Air Trainer 1. That was a collab with Polar Skate Co., and it looked pretty dope with its blue/black/white color-blocking. Moreover, it’s been five years since we got the last Nike SB Trainer 1 in the “Chlorophyll” colorway.

Naturally, after a while of being MIA, the silhouette was bound to come back. And now, Nike SB is back with Arts-Rec on a mish-mash of colors and materials on the Air Trainer 1! The kicks feature a brown and limestone leather base with leopard-print and black suede overlays. And finally, the cherry on top is the fuzzy pink swoosh on the sides!

Arts-Rec Nike SB Dunk Low – Classics You Can’t Miss

You didn’t expect the collab to end there, did you? It’s not really a signature partnership with the SB division without an SB Dunk Low, and you know it! And honestly, the Arts-Rec Nike SB Dunk Low gives off some solid 2000s era vibes that we can’t resist. From the olive and pink base to the leopard print overlays, it’s edgy just enough to get you noticed!
